Elk Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Drift down the rapids of Boulder River in a kayak; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Coyote Creek Trail. All through the summer months highs here at Elk Lake reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Boulder River is so much fun, and Bridge Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. That right there is a heap of fun things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Absaroka Range. This lake is one of the great places here
