The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Lewis Range. Vinegar Creek flows through this region, and in the event that you don’t have a problem
getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. For the period of the summer months highs here at Elk Lake get into the 70's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Elk Lake.
