The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork; hiking along the Mount Bradley Trail is pleasant fun. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Devil Creek Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Giefer Lake.       This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Bridge Street Cottages. The yearly rainfall here at Elk Lake is about average; most of the snow falls all through December, and the driest month is April. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are in fact abundant here at Elk Lake. Don't forget to take a great little spree to Vinegar Creek; Bear Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Camping is available at Devil Creek Campground, and a great                  vista of wonderful Mount Bradley is available. Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a great time. You'll stumble on a stunning lake called Moose Lake near Elk Lake, and do set aside some time for Tranquil Basin if you're here at Elk Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Lake is right by the Spruce Park Moose Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Half-Way Motel Campground is a good site to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Elk Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.
