Camping at Elk Lake is tremendous fun, Hilltop Campground is a tremendous local campground; the Tin Cup Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Elk Lake gets very little rain; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. A tremendous nearby hotel is West Fork Cabins & Rv, and Madison River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here       at Elk Lake. Elk Mountain is a peak you can see from Elk Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Cliff Point Campground is a brilliant place to camp. Madison River Cabins & Rv is a magnificent site to get some rest; while you're here you can take a hike along the Myers Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Brimstone Creek is a nice spot to visit; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Blind Creek Trail. The beauty                  of mother nature reveals herself at 13S01E28AACD01 Spring; a glorious spot for whitewater paddling is Madison River. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Elk Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's.
