It is very dry here at Elf Lake commonly; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summertime months at Elf Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Elf Lake are in the 0's. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even       more exciting stuff to do here in the Big Belt Mountains. Bridger Bowl has good slopes and a friendly staff, and if you came for an overnight stay Brackett Creek Campground is a good spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Stock Drive Trail; Fairy Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Elf Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elf Lake; South Fork                  Trail is a delightful local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn Bozeman. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Fairy Lake Campground, and Bridger Range is uncomplicated to spot from Elf Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Big Belt Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Rays Road, and a lake nearby is Ainger Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool stuff to do in the Big Belt Mountains.
