After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Bozeman is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; why not camp at Fairy Lake Campground since you're here at Elf Lake. Just can't get enough of the Big Belt Mountains. Camping at Elf Lake is delightful fun, Brackett       Creek Campground is a delightful local campground. All the outdoors entertaining things in close proximity to Elf Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. The snow is delightful at Bridger Bowl, and at Elf Lake you can catch a glimpse of Bridger Range. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the South Fork Trail, and the peaks of the Bridger Range dominate the scenery of this region. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Elf Lake while nighttime lows                  are mostly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Elf Lake. Going for a hike on the Rays Road is always a wonderful adventure, and there are other places here than Elf Lake, for example Ainger Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Big Belt Mountains. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Elf Lake called the Stock Drive Trail, and a fine close by hotel is Americinn Bozeman.
