Around Elbow Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Long Canyon Trail; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out Mountain Ben Dam if you're here; you can stay       the night at Lost Creek Campground. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Take a hike on the Boulder Lakes Trail, and Discovery Ski is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Since you're here at Elbow Lake why not have a look at Racetrack Pass, and there are other places here than Elbow Lake, for example Trask Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Little Goat Lake is a tremendous lake in the vicinity of Elbow Lake; Dempsey Basin is                  a splendid site here at Elbow Lake. At Elbow Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, typically in the 40's.
