A quick spree to Lost Horse Creek right next door to Elbow Lake is a nice idea, and going for a hike on the Pyramid Pass Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Camping is available at Russell Gates Memorial Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River, and delightful hiking is available along the Dunham Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Elbow Lake; all through the month of January you get the most snow around

Go for a hike on the Blackfoot Divide Trail, and obviously, this is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes, Harpers Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
