A brilliant place to camp here at Elbow Lake is Russell Gates Memorial Campground; naturally, this is a pleasant vicinity for people who like lakes, Harpers Lake is a lake in the vicinity. Good hiking is available along the Pyramid Pass Trail. Elbow Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out regularly; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July meanwhile       is the driest month. Lots of folks from Missoula come to Elbow Lake, and the Dunham Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Blackfoot River right next door to Elbow Lake, and Boyd Mountain is clearly visible from Elbow Lake. Lost Horse Creek is close to Elbow Lake and is always a delight to go to; hiking is a popular thing to do around Elbow Lake; Blackfoot Divide Trail is a great local trail. I don't want                  to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Elbow Lake. Camping at Salmon Lake Campground is always a nice experience, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Harpers Lake is one of those nearby. High temperatures at Elbow Lake all through the long summer days are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
