Elbow Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A brilliant place to camp here at Elbow Lake is Russell Gates Memorial Campground; naturally, this is a pleasant vicinity for people who like lakes, Harpers Lake is a lake in the vicinity. Good hiking is available along the Pyramid Pass Trail. You can run the rapids of Blackfoot River right next door to Elbow Lake, and Boyd Mountain is clearly visible from Elbow Lake. all through the long summer days are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Elbow Lake tend to be in the 0's.
