A delightful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn WEST YELLOWSTONE, and from Echo Lake you obtain a brilliant sight of Dutchman Peak. If you fancy a little side tour, try Expedition Pass, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Sky if you're here. Echo Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Rock Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and the Cutoff Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. | | Lake is a lake that's right next door to Echo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Wapiti Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and you're in all probability into lakes, Coney Lake is one of those nearby. There is a delightful hiking trail near Echo Lake called the Lightning Creek Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Sawtelle Mountain Resort is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. that you need to camp here for a while, Howlin'mad Moon is a magnificent spot for that, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Madison River. Echo Lake is generally a reasonably dried up spot; most of the rain falls during
June while February is typically the driest month. So much enjoyable stuff close to Echo Lake, simply amazing. A spree to Hilgard Basin revitalizes the soul; Madison River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. The warmest time
of the year brings highs in the 80's to Echo Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Echo Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
