Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at Echo Lake. Glacier National Park is a perfect national park. Nearby lakes? Sure, Kid Lake is in close proximity to Echo Lake, and after a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. On a tremendous day it's a splendid idea to spend the day at Long Beach, and dry warm beds await you at Bad Rock       B&B. It is very dried out here at Echo Lake frequently; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summer here at Echo Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Echo Lake all through the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 10's. Why not stop at                  nearby Echo Creek while you're here at Echo Lake; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swan River. This lake is so wonderful. At Echo Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell, and if you've had enough of Echo Lake, Amy Lake is close by. Golf can be played at Eagle Bend Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jimmie Ridge Trail, and Bigfork Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. Take a hike on the Noisy Creek Notch Trail; Echo Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Rv Timbers Park is a delightful site to camp nearby. So much fun stuff near Echo Lake, truly incredible.
