This lake is so wonderful. Rock Creek is a good location to have a look at, and Rock Creek Campground is a great campground here. For the duration of the summer highs here at Earthquake Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Earthquake       Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. A cool spot to check out near Earthquake Lake is Madison Side, and get covered with water paddling on Madison River. At Earthquake Lake you don’t see much precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors cool things next to Earthquake Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hebgan Lake Mountain Inn is a fine place to get some rest, and there is a                  nice hiking trail close by called the Kirkwood Trail. The scenery at Earthquake Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Earthquake Lake is beautiful, and you can stay the night at Beaver Creek Campground 1. Madison Slide is in close proximity to Earthquake Lake and is a wonderful location, and the Lightning Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.
