     You can run the rapids of Madison River near Dutchman Lake, and Dutchman Peak is easy to spot from Dutchman Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Sawtelle Mountain Resort, and Hilgard Basin is a good place. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn WEST YELLOWSTONE is a brilliant choice. Dutchman Lake is a location that is quite waterless ordinarily; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is January.
There's
 
   just no way somebody can get bored here at Dutchman Lake. Camping at Rock Creek Campground is always a good experience; while you're here you can take a hike along the Lightning Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Echo Lake is close to Dutchman Lake; Dutchman Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Howlin'mad Moon is a brilliant local campground. At Dutchman Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's while night  
               lows are mostly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Dutchman Lake.
Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Cutoff Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Big Sky in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Near Dutchman Lake you hit upon good places like Expedition Pass, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Wapiti Creek Trail. This is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes. Lake Eglise is a lake close by; there's whitewater on Madison River for all you adrenaline people.
