You can run the rapids of Madison River near Dutchman Lake, and Dutchman Peak is easy to spot from Dutchman Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Sawtelle Mountain Resort, and Hilgard Basin is a good place. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn WEST YELLOWSTONE is a brilliant choice. lows are mostly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Dutchman Lake. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Cutoff Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Big Sky in the
neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Near Dutchman Lake you hit upon good places like Expedition Pass, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Wapiti Creek Trail. This is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes. Lake Eglise is a lake close by; there's whitewater on Madison River for all you adrenaline people.
