This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Sweeney Ridge Trail is magnificent fun, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary sites, pop by Meadow Creek if you're here at Duffy Lake. At Duffy Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Lolo Peak can be distinguished from       Duffy Lake, and going for a hike along the Mill Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the duration of the warm months at Duffy Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's; the night is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Duffy Lake descend into the 10's. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Paddling on Kootenai Creek is so much fun, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Carlton Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
