Duffy Lake is a location that is relatively arid typically; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Duffy Lake, you'll locate Bass Lake which is a wonderful lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Bitterroot Range. If you came for an overnight stay Fort Fizzle Campground       is a perfect site to camp, and a swamp like Meadow Creek close to Duffy Lake has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Carlton Lake Trail, and there's whitewater on Kootenai Creek for all you adrenaline people. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. After a long day outdoors Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain is a great spot to spend a night or two; Lolo                  Peak is trouble-free to spot from Duffy Lake. Throughout the warm months highs here at Duffy Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Duffy Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Brushy Fork, and Duffy Lake is right by the Sweeney Ridge Trail. This location, the Bitterroot Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Missoula/Brooks Street is a tremendous choice, and hiking along the Mill Creek Trail is perfect fun. Any time is a perfect time at Duffy Lake if you love the outdoors.
