A visit to Duffy Lake is always a good idea. Duffy Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Duffy Lake; Mill Creek Trail is a good local trail, and there's whitewater on Kootenai Creek for all you thrill seekers. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Holloway Lake is one of those nearby, and you can stay the night at Charles Waters Memorial Campground.

| | lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Missoula-Days Inn, and there's nice hiking along the Sweeney Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Brushy Fork in the neighborhood of Duffy Lake. Duffy Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month of the year is October.

from Duffy Lake you obtain a great panorama of Lolo Peak. Through the months of summer at Duffy Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the
wintertime highs are generally in the 20's while Duffy Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Why not visit Duffy Lake Dam since you're here, and Duffy Lake is a great spot to camp, Fort Fizzle Campground
is a great spot.
And that's not all you can do here in the Bitterroot Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Carlton Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain is a great place to spend a night or two.
