Hell Roaring Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and why not camp at Elkhorn while you're here at Dudley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Big Sky, and the Eldridge Trail offers hiking at its best.

All through the winter highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Dudley Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Really good skiing awaits you at Big Sky, and Dudley Lake is right by the Wapiti Ridge Trail.
Not much precipitation falls here at Dudley Lake; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Divide Trail, and swing by South Fork Hell Roaring Creek it's a splendid place to stop at.
