Dudley Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A wonderful place to camp here at Dudley Lake is Elkhorn, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Gallatin River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Castle Rock Inn; you'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Hell Roaring Lake. If you're popping by Dudley Lake from Bozeman, you won't be the only one; do take a hike on the Wapiti Ridge Trail. The skiing at Big Sky is great, and

right by the Divide Trail. During the summer months here at Dudley Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Dudley Lake tend to be in the 10's.
