A visit to Dude Lake is always a good idea. Not much rain falls here at Dude Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. A gorgeous lake like Alp Lake in the vicinity of Dude Lake is a fine spot to visit, and on a wonderful day you get a tremendous view of Moose Butte from Dude Lake. This lake is so wonderful. | | to camp Beaver Creek Campground 1 is a nice site to do that. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River, and a quick journey to Alp Creek is certainly a delightful idea. All through the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Dude Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. stop by. This lake is so wonderful. You are near Pyramid Point since you're here at Dude Lake; Dude Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Creek Campground 2 is a tremendous local campground. If only every
place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. Good hiking is available along the Lightning Creek Trail; lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Lightning Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead,
and there's great hiking along the Cutoff Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dude Lake; Wapiti Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Big Sky. And
if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Dude Lake. Head up to Moonlight Basin and strap some skis to your feet.
