Dude Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. This place, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Nearby lakes? Sure, Senal Lake is near Dude Lake, and you can stay the night at East Rosebud Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody       close by loves skiing at Red Lodge Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Dude Lake. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Kookoo Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and the Upper Granite Loop Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Dude Lake, you can go for a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail; you can run the rapids of Rosebud                  Creek - West. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Absaroka Range. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Rosebud Creek - East, and close by you come across the Beauty Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail. You can spot Elk Mountain from Dude Lake, and you could always look at Sundance Pass. From a rain point of view Dude Lake is a pretty normal spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most; October on the other hand is the driest. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Dude Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 30's.
