Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Vermilion River, and if you've had enough of Duckhead Lake, Arrowhead Lake is close by. If you came for an overnight stay Copper King Campground is a magnificent place to camp, as expected you could also visit Deer Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
This lake is so wonderful. From Duckhead Lake you obtain a great sight of Cube Iron Mountain, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Slide Rock Mountain Trail. Clark Memorial Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and Squaw Pass is also a fine place to look at.
