Why not stop by Dry Lake if you're passing through these parts. Camping is available at Crooked Creek Campground, and a lake close by is Fish Fossil Reservoir. High temperatures at Dry Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Dry Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Cart Coulee is a splendid site to visit

Dry Lake is typically a pretty arid place; May is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. Why not camp at Fourchette Creek Campground while you're here at Dry Lake, and if you get bored of Dry Lake you could also stop by nearby Eva May Reservoir. | |
