It's always fun to stop by Lake Douglas. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Lewis Range has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Swan River, and you can go for a hike on the Alpine Trail. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Lewis Range is excellent! A pleasant place to camp here at Lake Douglas is Lake Blaine Resort Campground; 28N20W23BABC01 Spring is a pretty spot

So much exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Lake Douglas, definitely amazing. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and Brown Gulch is another fine location to check out nearby. Amy Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; why not take a little spree to Brown Creek since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. from close by Kalispell; don't leave Lake Douglas without first going for a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail.
Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are really abundant here at Lake Douglas. Mountain Crossroads Restaurant &
Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby; visiting Glacier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lake Douglas, you could also stop by nearby Kid Lake, and
a delightful close by hotel is Bad Rock B&B. During the months of summer highs here at Lake Douglas reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows in the
10's for Lake Douglas.
Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest; you don’t have to go far from Lake Douglas to spot the water at Jessup Mill Pond Dam. Having a delightful time in the Lewis Range is easy. Why
not camp at Beautiful Lake Blaine Resort while you're here at Lake Douglas, and going for a hike on the Doris Creek Trail is always a nice adventure.
It is very dry here at Lake Douglas typically; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
