A fine nearby hotel is Silver Mountain Ski & Summer Resort. Double Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet Mountains. Why not camp at Bad Medicine Campground if you're here at Double Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kootenai River. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting things to do in the Cabinet Mountains. A striking lake like Wishbone Lake near Double Lake       is a great site to go to; if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Libby is a fine choice. A common amount of rain falls here at Double Lake; November is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Double Lake. Vimy Lake is a delightful lake near Double Lake; a quick spree to Verdun Creek is undeniably a delightful idea. High temperatures at Double Lake during the summertime are in                  the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Double Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Cabinet Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Turner Mountain since you're here; Double Lake is right by the Berray Mountain Trail. The Old Daly Trail offers hiking at its best, and A Peak can be distinguished from Double Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
