It's always fun to stop by Double Lake. Double Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out commonly; most of the rain falls through June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Double Lake without first going for a hike along the Doris Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel. There's so much to do here at Double Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Blaine Resort Campground

| | is a pleasant place for that, and you'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Amy Lake.
If you yearn for a little side tour, try Brown Gulch, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kalispell here. There's good hiking along the Alpine Trail, also Jessup Mill Pond Dam is worth stopping at since you're here. Why not check out nearby Brown Creek since you're here at Double Lake, and golf can be played at Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club.

so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Double Lake; Columbia Mountain Trail is a perfect local trail, and there's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people. Double Lake is good enough to
spend more than a day at, Beautiful Lake Blaine Resort is a good local campground; if you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here. Through the warm days of summer at Double Lake
highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while Double Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
But wait, there's more to do
in the neighborhood of Double Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Swan River, and Bad Rock B&B is a nice site to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Double Lake. Don't leave Double Lake without first paying a visit to 28N20W23BABC01 Spring.
