Going for a hike along the Boulder Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Dora Thorn Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Lower Warm Springs Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of Dora Thorn Lake. On a good day at Dora Thorn Lake       you can take a hike along the Combination Trail Number 3. Throughout the summer months at Dora Thorn Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, usually in the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Dora Thorn Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Very lovely scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Discovery Ski, as expected you could also visit Sidney Lake                  while you're here; it's not far at all. Not much rainfall falls here at Dora Thorn Lake; most of the rain falls during June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
