Doney Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless mostly; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest of the months is July. Summertime highs at Doney Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Doney Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter       nights. This place, the Lewis Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a good location to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Take a hike on the Lake Otatsy Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackfoot River. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Doney Lake is peerless! Have a great hiking adventure along the Spread Mountain                  Trail, and Kleinschmidt Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Doney Lake is right by the McCabe Lake Creek Trail; Blackfoot River - North Fork is a nice whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
