There are other locations here than Dome Lake, for example Triple Lakes; Big Sky is a nice local ski area. It is very dried up here at Dome Lake typically; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn WEST YELLOWSTONE is a fine choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Madison River. This lake is so

| | wonderful. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Dome Lake, too pleasant to be true. Good hiking is available along the Wapiti Creek Trail, and Speck Lake is a splendid lake nearby. Don't leave Dome Lake without first going for a hike along the Lightning Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Sawtelle Mountain Resort. Go for a hike on the Cutoff Trail, and why not camp at Beaver Creek Campground 1 since you're here at Dome Lake. For the duration | |

of the warmest time of the year here at Dome Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at
Dome Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Eagle Creek is a great local stream; camping is available at Rock Creek Campground.
