People from Butte-Silver Bow love to come to Dolus Lakes; the slopes of Discovery Ski are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. From Dolus Lakes you get a brilliant panorama of Pikes Peak; Racetrack Campground is a fine campground here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Dolus Lakes. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally       in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Dolus Lakes tend to be in the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Dolus Lakes. Going for a hike on the Long Canyon Trail is always a splendid adventure, and you can stay the night at Lost Creek Campground. Dolus Lakes gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture.
