There's perfect hiking along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail; if you need a location to stay Grouse Mountain Lodge is a splendid choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dollar Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Dollar Lake are in the 10's. Lakes are such peaceful       places, why not explore Little Beaver Lake next to Dollar Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dollar Lake; Micho Trail is a perfect local trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Dollar Lake. Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and a pleasant vista of stunning Lion Mountain is available. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Dollar Lake. Beaver Creek is a good local stream, and                  a delightful lake like Beaver Lake is a wonderful location to visit. If you came to camp Les Mason Campground is a fine place to do that, and paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Whitefish RV Park is always a tremendous experience, and if you're here you have to pop by Beaver Bay. Dollar Lake is a location that is quite dried up frequently; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Big Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and dry warm beds await you at Kristianna Mountain Homes. Don't leave Dollar Lake without first going for a hike along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail; whitewater paddling is perfect on Stillwater River.
