This lake is one of the great places here in the Big Belt Mountains. Throughout the warm months at Doggett Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows at Doggett Reservoir during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 10's. Not much precipitation falls here       at Doggett Reservoir; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. Ayers Dam is lovely and it's in close proximity to Doggett Reservoir, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Figure 8 Loop National Recreation Trail. Be careful coming to Doggett Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenderfoot                  Creek; getting to Elk Creek from Doggett Reservoir is painless. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Big Belt Mountains has to offer. Not far from Doggett Reservoir, you'll locate Keep Cool Reservoir which is a lovely lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Divide Trail. Having a great time in the Big Belt Mountains is painless. Lakes are magnificent; Ayers Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Doggett Reservoir, and Doggett Reservoir is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Skidway Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
