Near Divide Creek Lake you hit upon the Lodgepole Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and a brilliant close by hotel is Super 8 Motel Big Timber. So much entertaining stuff to do at Divide Creek Lake, so little time. Divide Creek flows through this vicinity, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder River. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful.       And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Aspen Campground is a good campground nearby; if you've had enough of Divide Creek Lake, Camp Lake is nearby. Around Divide Creek Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Chippy Park Campground is a good place to camp; Divide                  Creek Lake is not the only site nearby, Lightning Lake is a nearby lake. Throughout the days of summer at Divide Creek Lake highs are frequently in the 80's; the overnight is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 50's.
