Argenta Flats is a wonderful location to check out. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dillon Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Barretts Park Campground. Dillon Reservoir is commonly a quite waterless spot; most of the rain falls throughout June while February is frequently the driest month. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Pioneer Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for       everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Beaverhead. There's so much to do here at Dillon Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Aspen Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Guesthouse Intl Dillon is a great place to get some rest; you'll meet a lot of people from Butte-Silver Bow here. The Pioneer Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Dillon is a nice choice. For                  the duration of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Dillon Reservoir. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's.
