There's so much to do here at Dickey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Canyon Creek Campground is a great spot for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Lewis Range. Dickey Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Eld Island Campground is a glorious local campground, and lakes are such calm places,       why not stop by Almeda Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun; this is a great location in the shadow of the Flathead Range. Dickey Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and April is the month with the least moisture. You'll come across a pretty lake called Marion Lake near Dickey Lake, and at Dickey Lake you can distinguish Mount Adams.                  Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. There is a great hiking trail next to Dickey Lake called the Murray Canyon Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Bear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year at Dickey Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dickey Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Dickey Lake.
