All year is a perfect time in the Lewis Range if you like the outdoors. While you're here at Dickey Lake you can take a hike along the Grant Ridge Trail, and obviously, all our national parks are magnificent locations to pop by and Glacier National Park is no exception. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. This lake is so wonderful. The yearly precipitation       here at Dickey Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that snows the most; April is when it's the driest. Going for a hike along the Murray Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is great on Bear Creek. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Dickey Lake has it all. A great place to camp here at Dickey Lake is Eld Island Campground;                  Mount Adams can be made out from Dickey Lake. So many cool things to do here in the Lewis Range, too glorious to be true. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Almeda Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Harris Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Marion Lake is in close proximity, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. During the days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Dickey Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dickey Lake.
