Hiking along the Pilot Creek Trail is pleasant fun, and if you came to camp Colter Campground is a glorious site to do that. And that's not all you can do here at Dick Lake. Have a good hiking adventure along the North Crandall Trail. There's so much to do here at Dick Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soda Butte Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Dick       Lake is pretty dehydrated generally; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. You definitely should love the Absaroka Range. Stillwater River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Dick Lake, and as expected, this is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Ovis Lake is a lake close at hand. Man, is there a load of cool things to do in the Absaroka Range. No need                  to travel far to explore out of the ordinary stuff like Alp Rock, and here at Dick Lake you can catch a sight of Mount Fox. At Dick Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Dick Lake tend to be in the 0's.
