If the weather is pretty, you get a great panorama of Chalice Peak from Lake Diaphanous. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Diaphanous. Going for a hike along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Super 8 Big Timber is a fine place to get some rest. A great place in close proximity to Lake Diaphanous is Jordan Pass, and a great location to camp here at Lake       Diaphanous is Hells Canyon Campground. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range. Lake Plateau is a tremendous place, and do take a hike on the Lodgepole Trail. Lake Diaphanous is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Pinchot is near Lake Diaphanous, and Boulder River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range is                  great! Hiking along the Republic Trail is wonderful fun, as expected you could also have a look at Wounded Man Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Lake Diaphanous is a location that is pretty dehydrated mostly; May is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. At Lake Diaphanous throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's while Lake Diaphanous night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
