A pleasant sight of striking Amphitheatre Mountain is available from Diamond Lake, and camping is available at South Fork Campground. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Lewis Range. A nice nearby hotel is Bridge Street Cottages, and if you came for an overnight stay Straight Creek Campground is       a great site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. The Rock Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and there's whitewater on Flathead River - South Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Don't leave Diamond Lake without first going for a hike along the Haystack Mountain Trail, and there's good hiking along the Larch Hill Trail. Diamond Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. Diamond Lake is a good site of normal rain; December is the wettest month with                  most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Diamond Lake reach the 80's; the night is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 40's.
