     The beauty of Diamond Lake attracts many people from all around. So many fun things in the Absaroka Range, just amazing. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone is so much fun; if you've had enough of Diamond Lake, Lake of the Clouds is nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Absaroka Range. Diamond Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Fox Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground, and float down the rapids of Clarks Fork  
   Yellowstone River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel; going for a hike along the Crazy Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the vicinity of Diamond Lake. Diamond Lake is not the only site close by, Crazy Lakes is a close by lake; if you're here you can take a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at Diamond
 
               Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crazy Creek Campground is a tremendous location for that; needless to say Farley Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
From a rainfall point of view Diamond Lake is a rather typical spot; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is October. The summit of Rock Island Butte can be seen from Diamond Lake, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Lake Reno Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Diamond Lake with night lows in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Diamond Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's.
