    Why not stop by Diamond Lake if you're passing through these parts. For the period of the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at Diamond Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Diamond Lake. Farley Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to; Rock Island Butte can be seen from Diamond Lake. Diamond Lake is a good  
   site to camp, Fox Creek Campground is a good site; Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a good whitewater spot nearby.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area close to Diamond Lake has to offer. Crazy Creek Campground is a pleasant campground here; a delightful nearby hotel is Antlers Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone next to Diamond Lake; you can go for a hike on the Lake
 
               Reno Trail. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range. If you need a spot to stay Big Moose Resort is a perfect choice; needless to say, this is a fine area for folks who like lakes, Canyon Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range rocks! Going for a hike on the Crazy Mountain Trail is always a great adventure; close by you hit upon the Crazy Lakes Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful.
Diamond Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
