There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Depression Reservoir called the Bent Trail; Depression Detention Dam is not far at all from Depression Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the King Trail is always a delightful adventure. There's so much to do here at Depression Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, City Park Campground is a perfect spot for that. Dry       warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn. The Miller Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Depression Reservoir, and if you came to camp Rockcreek Campground is a nice site to do that. At Depression Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Depression Reservoir temperatures sink to                  the 10's.
