Take a hike on the Skyline Trail. There's so much to do here at Deep Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Creek Campground is a perfect spot for that. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Deep Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Deep Reservoir are in the 0's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wilder Trail,

| | as expected you could also stop at Gullwing Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. At Deep Reservoir you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month is February.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deep Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Buckhorn Store - cabins and RV Park; Deep Reservoir is right by the Old Musselshell Trail. Deep Reservoir is not the only spot close by, Seven-Up Reservoir is a close by lake. | |
