Why not go to Twin Lake Dam since you're here; Deep Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, West Fork Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. High temperatures at Deep Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in       the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Deep Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. A lake close by is Waddel Lakes, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Cut Bank is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Deep Lake, you could also stop at close by Round Lake, and the Bowl Divide Trail offers hiking at its best. And that's not all you can do here at Deep Lake. There's fine hiking                  along the Jones Creek National Recreation Trail, and you can stay the night at Cave Mountain Campground.
