Don't leave Deep Lake without first going for a hike along the Louise Lake National Recreation Trail, and camping at Deep Lake is brilliant fun, Balanced Rock Campground is a brilliant local campground. There's perfect hiking along the Lost Cabin Lake Recreation Trail, and after a long day outdoors Rice Motel & Trailer Court is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Deep Lake is not the       only location close by, Albro Lake is a close by lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Deep Lake; Pedro Trail is a delightful local trail. If you came for an overnight stay Potosi Campground is a wonderful spot to camp, and one of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Deep Lake is Hollowtop Mountain. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do near Deep Lake. Chief Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest, and Hollowtop Lake Dam                  is not far at all from Deep Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Deep Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Deep Lake.
