A visit to Dead Lakes is always a good idea. Dead Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Creek Campground 1 is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Madison River Cabins & Rv. Moonlight Basin has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and you can distinguish Dutchman Peak from Dead Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dead Lakes, you could also stop by delightful Alp Lake, and West Fork Cabins & Rv is a brilliant

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dead Lakes, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Dead Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Big Sky, and do set aside some time for Hilgard Basin since you're here at Dead Lakes.

is always a pleasant adventure, and since you're here, you might as well visit Expedition Pass. Go for a hike on the Lightning Creek Trail; if you came to camp Rock Creek Campground is a tremendous place to do that. At Dead Lakes
you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Dead Lakes. Madison
River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and don't leave Dead Lakes without first going for a hike along the Wapiti Creek Trail.
