A brilliant view of beautiful Racetrack Peak is available from Dead Lake. There's so much to do here at Dead Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Racetrack Campground is a glorious place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lost Creek Campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Dead Lake; the wettest month of the       year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month. So much enjoyable stuff near Dead Lake, clearly astonishing. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge, and not far from Dead Lake you'll find Albicaulis Lake which is a pretty lake. Summertime highs at Dead Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs                  in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dead Lake descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Discovery Ski is close to Dead Lake; close by you locate the Boulder Lakes Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Albicaulis Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's near Dead Lake, and a quick spree to North Fork Racetrack Creek is definitely a splendid idea.
