The beauty of Dan Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Swan River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dan Lake; Doris Creek Trail is a great local trail. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some pleasant whitewater, and obviously Brown Creek flows through this area.

| | Trail, and the scenery at Jessup Mill Pond Dam is picturesque. Why not camp at Lake Blaine Resort Campground while you're here at Dan Lake, and the Alpine Trail offers hiking at its best. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Amy Lake, and Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club is a golf course close by.

ordinarily a relatively dehydrated location; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors,
just come on down to Dan Lake. Bad Rock B&B is a great place to get some rest, and after a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
At Dan Lake through the warm months highs are
in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Dan Lake tend to be in the 10's. This is a fine region for folks who like lakes. Plummers Lake
is a lake around here, and if you're looking for a wonderful journey, Glacier National Park is rather near. Be careful coming to Dan Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Near Dan Lake you stumble on Brown Gulch which
is a perfect location to pop by, and do put some time aside to spend at 28N20W23BABC01 Spring while you're here at Dan Lake.
