Throughout the summertime here at Daly Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Daly Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. The yearly rainfall here at Daly Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through May; February meanwhile is       the driest month. You clearly ought to go for the Absaroka Range. A pleasant visit to Hellroaring Plateau is a splendid way to spend an afternoon, and going for a hike on the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is always a great adventure. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Daly Lake has it all. Take a side tour to Chan Creek, and do take a look at Hellroaring Lake, it's a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than                  a day to explore everything Daly Lake has to offer, you can camp at Buena Vista Campground, and there's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you adrenaline junkies. Go for a hike on the Beauty Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Red Lodge. There's so much to do here at Daly Lake that you need to camp here for a while, M-K Campground is a great location for that, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Smethurst Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Red Lodge Mountain, and don't leave Daly Lake without first going for a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. Yodeler Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Rock Creek.
