     Go for a hike on the Griffin Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, Little McGregor Lake is in the neighborhood. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Dahl Lake. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Sunday Creek; a magnificent place to camp here at Dahl Lake is McGregor Lake Campground. Dahl Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Rest A Day Campground is a fine local campground, and don't leave Dahl Lake without first going  
   for a hike along the Castle Rock Trail. Not far from Dahl Lake, you'll come across Pearson Reservoir which is a pretty lake, and tremendous hiking is available along the Lupine Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Elbow Creek flows through this vicinity, and after a long day outdoors Kristianna Mountain Homes is a great place to spend a night or two. At Dahl Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to
 
               the 40's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows during the winter for Dahl Lake tend to be in the 10's.
Dahl Lake is a location that is relatively dried up ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is June, and March on the other hand is the driest.
