    If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Cutler Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Cutler Lake you can take a hike along the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Mulherin Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Sportsman Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You completely must love Cutler Lake. Banana Peel Dam is a place that is near Cutler  
   Lake, naturally you could also stop by Twin Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all.
If you need a location to stay Yellowstone Park North Travelodge is a tremendous choice, and Cutler Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Yankee Jim Campground and Picnic Area is a magnificent place to camp nearby. Cutler Lake gets very little precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Cutler
 
               Lake is not the only place close by, Yankee Jim Lake is a close by lake; after a long day outdoors Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a nice site to spend a night or two.
You can run the rapids of Yellowstone River next to Cutler Lake; you can stay the night at LaDuke Spring Campground. For the duration of the summer highs here at Cutler Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Cutler Lake tend to be in the 10's. If the weather is perfect here at Cutler Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sepulcher Loop Trail, and Cedar Creek is in close proximity to Cutler Lake and is always a delight to pop by.
