What a nice lake Curl Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Fox Creek Campground is a glorious local campground; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Pilot Creek Trail. Take a little trip to Sedge Creek while you're here at Curl Lake, and get drenched paddling on Rosebud Creek - West.
From a precipitation point of view Curl Lake is a quite common place; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. Having a perfect time

| | in the Absaroka Range is trouble-free. While you're here at Curl Lake, you could also pop by charming Little Molar Lake; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Crazy Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone is so much fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Chief Joseph Campground is a great place to camp.

8 Motel Big Timber, and going for a hike on the Republic Trail is always a perfect adventure. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Curl Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's.
High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Curl Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Curl Lake. The summit of Middle Mountain
can be seen from Curl Lake, and do stop at Boulder Lakes, it's a beautiful lake.
