Crystal Lake is a nice lake to visit. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder River; some nearby water includes East Fork West Boulder River. Crystal Lake is mostly a relatively waterless site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all you can do here at Crystal Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around

| | Crystal Lake; Wallace Creek Trail is a fine local trail, and if you need a place to stay Livingston Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice.
This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Comfort Inn Livingston, and you can stay the night at Hicks Park Campground. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snowbank Campground is a wonderful location for that. This lake is | |

one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Absaroka Range. There are other spots here than Crystal Lake, for example Silver Lake; there's good hiking along the Pyramid Trail.
For the duration of the summertime months here at Crystal Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during
the winter temperatures at Crystal Lake dip into the 10's. Alpine Lake is a splendid lake near Crystal Lake, and nice hiking is available along the Sidehill Trail.
