Crystal Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You get a perfect panorama of Bald Knob from Crystal Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Rock Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bozeman, and if you've had enough of Crystal Lake, Pine Lake is nearby. There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Palace Butte Campground is a great site for that, and you're probably into lakes, Bear Lakes is one

| | of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Bozeman is a brilliant choice, and the Pole Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Crystal Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crystal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Canyon RV Park, and the snow is great at Bridger Bowl. Yellowstone River is a glorious whitewater spot near Crystal Lake. | |

Not much rain falls here at Crystal Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. All through the months of summer here at Crystal Lake, high temperatures typically get into the
80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Crystal Lake during the wintertime generally descend into the 10's.

Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs.
