There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Palace Butte Campground is a great site for that, and you're probably into lakes, Bear Lakes is one       of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Bozeman is a brilliant choice, and the Pole Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Crystal Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crystal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Canyon RV Park, and the snow is great at Bridger Bowl. Yellowstone River is a glorious whitewater spot near Crystal Lake.                  Not much rain falls here at Crystal Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. All through the months of summer here at Crystal Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
