    Crimson Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Just can't get enough of Crimson Lake. The summit of Crimson Peak can be seen from Crimson Lake, and Seeley Lake Resort and RV Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. Crimson Creek is a great local stream, and Leota Park is right here at Crimson Lake.
Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do
 
   here in the Lewis Range. Glide down the rapids of Flathead River - South Fork in a kayak; why not camp at Salmon Lake Campground if you're here at Crimson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Crimson Lake, for example Otis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Pyramid Lake is around here, and going for a hike on the Pyramid Pass Trail is always a glorious adventure.
Crimson Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; January
 
               is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. If you're stopping by Crimson Lake from Missoula, you won't be the only one; you can go for a hike on the Dunham Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more amusing things to do in the Lewis Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River; there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Blackfoot Divide Trail.
All through the summer months, highs usually are in the 70's at Crimson Lake while night lows are usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Crimson Lake.
