    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Crimson Lake. During the summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Crimson Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Crimson Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A great site for whitewater paddling near Crimson Lake is Flathead River - South Fork, and there's fine hiking along the  
   Pyramid Pass Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Crimson Lake; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Crimson Lake. Crimson Lake is a magnificent place to camp, Seeley Lake Resort and RV Park is a magnificent place; hiking is a popular thing to do around Crimson Lake; Dunham Trail is a splendid local trail. If you're here at Crimson Lake, you could go to Crimson
 
               Creek; Leota Park is right here at Crimson Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range.
Blackfoot River is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Crimson Lake, and don't leave Crimson Lake without first going for a hike along the Blackfoot Divide Trail. Having a perfect time in the Lewis Range is trouble-free. Crimson Peak is clearly visible from Crimson Lake; camping at Crimson Lake is magnificent fun, Salmon Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Lewis Range. You'll meet a lot of folks from Missoula here.
