If you are in Carbon county it's always a good idea to stop by Cresent Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Buena Vista Campground, and you can run the rapids of Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Red Lodge is a nice place to get some rest. Cresent Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Lakes are great; Timberline Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Cresent Lake, and do set aside some time for Hellroaring Plateau since you're
here at Cresent Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. On a great day at Cresent Lake you can take a hike along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay M-K Campground is a brilliant place to camp.
