If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crescent Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Blackmore Campground is a perfect spot to camp. This is a popular spot for folks from Bozeman; drift down the rapids of Yellowstone River in a kayak. All through the summer months at Crescent Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime       highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Crescent Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to Middle Creek Dam while you're here, and Blackmore Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. A lake close by is Palace Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Gallatin River. The summit of The Mummy can be observed from Crescent Lake, and a great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Bozeman. This                  lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Bridger Bowl is one of those things you just have to do, and a visit to Crescent Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Grotto Falls. Window Rock is a glorious place to take a look at while in the neighborhood; don't leave Crescent Lake without first going for a hike along the Red Rock Trail. Be careful coming to Crescent Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Good hiking is available along the Pole Gulch Trail, and after a long day outdoors Bozeman - Days Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. Some of the water close by flows, like Blackmore Creek, and Palace Butte Campground is a splendid campground nearby.
