In Montana there are many beautiful lakes, Crater Lake is one of them. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Crater Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Crater Lake. A lake nearby is Lily Pad Lake, and going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty

| | of this neighborhood. Crater Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up frequently; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at Crater Lake is Emerald Lake Campground, and Rosebud Creek - East is a great whitewater spot nearby. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Absaroka Range. If you don’t have a problem | |

getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West; hiking along the Upper Granite Loop Trail is pleasant fun. So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Crater Lake, clearly fantastic. Crater Lake is
not the only place close by, Reeves Lake is a close by lake, and Crater Lake is right by the Copeland Lake Trail.
Red Lodge Mountain is a brilliant local ski area, and the scenery at Has A Name Dam is charming. This lake is so
wonderful. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Camping at Pine Grove Campground is always a good experience, and let's not forget Line Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
