What a nice lake Crater Lake is. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Crater Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Crater Lake descend into the 10's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Absaroka Range has to offer. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Absaroka Range is excellent! A good location

| | to camp here at Crater Lake is Pine Grove Campground, and going for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
Just can't get enough of Crater Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rosebud Creek - East; pleasant hiking is available along the Crazy Mountain Trail. The slopes of Red Lodge Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and some nearby water includes Line Creek. Has A Name | |

Dam is lovely and it's close to Crater Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Upper Granite Loop Trail.
Crater Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Rosebud Creek - West for all
you adrenaline kick people, and camping is available at Emerald Lake Campground. Around Crater Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
