If you are in Mineral county it's always a good idea to stop by Crater Lake. Having a wonderful time at Crater Lake is easy. A good place for whitewater paddling next to Crater Lake is Clark Fork; the vista of scenic Crater Mountain is magnificent. Through the long summer days at Crater Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights

Why not take a refreshing hike along the State Line Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Around Crater Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January while July is usually the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the Bitterroot Range for a fine time. There's perfect hiking along the Trout Creek Stock Driveway. There's so much to do here at Crater Lake that you need to camp here
for a while, Clearwater Crossing Campground is a good location for that. The Cedar Creek Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best, and since you're here, you could also visit pretty Goose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're
here, you might as well stop at Snowy Gulch, and Crater Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Trout Creek Campground is a great local campground.
The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.
